No Credit Card Gambling in the UK
Why UK players can’t use credit cards for gambling and what to use instead.
Since April 2020, UK-licensed gambling sites have been banned from accepting credit cards. This is a Gambling Commission rule to reduce harm from borrowing to gamble.
What you can use
Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), e-wallets (PayPal, Skrill, Neteller), prepaid cards, and bank transfers are all allowed. Choose a method that fits how you want to deposit and withdraw.
Stay in control
